I was probably the most excited about this job last year. This was “Grandma Peirick’s” kitchen and I have never cared for this layout. My biggest complaint with this current layout – you have to cross the room to use this dishwasher. A few people have come to me over the years with this kitchen Read More

The McCormick kitchen was, let’s face it, sad, worn out and didn’t make the best use of the space. The perimeter cabinets are white and we took them to the ceiling making the space feel bigger. The island is grey with decorative table legs and seating for 4. Cambria Berwyn counters and simple white modern Read More

Half the hinges no longer closed, the white thermofoil was discolored from age and previous owner’s smoking, the vinyl flooring was tearing, the room lacked lighting and the dining room behind the stove wall was never used. The wall between the two rooms Read More

The home had oak EVERYWHERE, cabinets, trim, doors, and floor!! Unused dinette space allowed us a two-island design. All doors and trim where painted white to remove the oak, which lead us to do Welling custom cabinets in maple wood with Cambria quartz counters and glass tile

We cathedraled the ceiling, they wanted one big island with seating rather than dinette area, the main goal was to open kitchen and living room for open concept. Oak builder series cabinets were replaced with Welling custom cabinets in two different stains, maple wood, Cambria quartz counters and glass tile

Thoms Kitchen Scrapbook The existing cabinets had been painted SOOOO many times, the laminate behind the stove covered burn mark from a previous kitchen fire, the laminate counters were chipped, the space was small so we had to use every inch available. The homeowners’ wanted to keep the charm of the beadboard ceiling and walls. Read More
